GARDEN FRIENDS

These garden statuary will certainly add "character" to your flower-beds!  Once again, I went a little overboard in choosing my spring delights, (according to Vick), and the store is full of 'em!  Chimes, garden stakes, bird houses & feeders, and so much more!  C'mon in and let us know what you think!

SILLY STRING

What in the world?  What a laugh we all had this week, as I gave Colby the "go" to demo the Silly String on Vick!  Vick was minding his own business, (literally), and attempting to put our weekly order away, when we launched our surprise attack.  Good thing he had his reading glasses on!  As it turns out,  Silly String wipes off almost ANY surface!  Once it dried, it was easily toweled off of Vick's hair, glasses, face, ears, t-shirt, the back counter, etc.!  Thanks for being such a good sport, Vick! 

Got Stuff?

If we don't have it, well, we can probably order it!  We are being as creative as we can in "fitting" all of the spring and summer products in the store while we wait - patiently - for the new addition to be completed.  Don't worry gals, it isn't slowing me down any in bringing in new stuff!  Did I just put that in writing?  It's a good thing Vick isn't too "blog-savvy!"  I don't know how many times I can tell him, "Oh, I must have ordered that ages ago," and still get him to believe me!

The Beginning of the Beginning

Well, we've broken ground! Bye-bye ugly little shed, and hello new addition! What in the world is going in there? No, it isn't an indoor pool, (not that it didn't cross my mind!) It will be a 2 level building, with access from the hardware store. What will be downstairs? GIFT SHOP! What will be upstairs? PAPERCRAFTING! SCRAPBOOKING! OFFICE SUPPLIES! CARD MAKING! STAMPS! INK! PENS! TABLES FOR DEMOS AND CLASSES AND FREE PAPERCRAFTING OPPORTUNITIES! YAY! Okay, I should definately switch to decaf, huh?

Posies Galore

How many plants can you fit in a Ford F150? Well, it depends on who is driving AND how tiny your employee is! (AND how willing she is to become a part of a front seat garden!) Thankfully, Olivia was very obliging, although I have no idea how she got her feet to "hover" all the way home so as not to crush all the red lupines! It only hailed on us twice, and the sun peeked out at us a few times in between. Ahh, Spring in Maine!

Gardener's delights!

Wow, Spring has surely sprung!!! The delivery trucks have been arriving almost daily with new products to put on the sales floor. We (meaning the females who work here) are having a blast unpacking all the fun and useful items as fast as we can!
